Sometimes I just have to draw!

The statement on my new post card fits me. I love color and love to draw. At the end of a busy day I really look forward to sitting down in my little studio and creating.

The Art Nouveau Style

When I think of the Art Nouveau style the one artist that comes to mind is Alfons Muncha. I am in awe his style, the images are so beautiful!

I love to alter some of those beautiful images and use them in my art. he was such a wonderful talent!

Not only am I catching up on projects I also have a lot of works in progress. This only took a couple of days. When I saw this image on one of my favorite sites, well, I guess inspiration took over. She was so pretty, I had to use her in one of my pieces. I used Graphics 45 "Bird Song" Collection for the background and the butterflies are from the "Olde Curiosity Shoppe" everything else is from my personal stash of stuff!!! ( I love all my stuff!!!!)
