The theme today for Sunday Postcard Art (SPA) is

"Haunted"

Perfect since this month our house is everything Halloween. Here is my Haunting Beauty......

 

 

While I'm in the studio doing my thing and creating little works of haunting art. Thom is in his garage Laboratory wiring all the creatures that will be Haunting Burlwood Drive on Halloween night!!!!

Witches Apothecary

In the spirit of Halloween my friend Laura from Artfully Musing is hosting a Witches Apothecary Event

 How fun is that! She has so many ideas and how to's to inspire the halloween spirit in all of us. I deceided to try my hand at my own apothecary shelf. After watching the tutorials she posted on her web site, here is my creation!

 

 

The base for my shelf is two photo boxes and their lids. Every time I went to the craft stores or scrapbook store I collected fun things to put into this project.

 

 

Crows, feathers and spiders! oh my!:)

Gothic Arch E. A. Poe

This fall I joined in on a couple of ATC swaps. The group I belong to is a Vintage Photo Image ATC group on yahoo, we have a lot of  really talented artists there, who all share alot of  the same interests. I just love this group!!!! The first swap is a Gothic Arch with an Edgar Allen Poe theme, here I have three of the completed ones.

 

 

 

 

 

 

While working on these, Thom and I have other projects for our 2012 Halloween display! This year we have decieded to build a few of our own props! FUN!!!!!!

Here is what we came up with so far! hard to say what will be next!!!!!!!!

 

 

 

 

His Name is Mr. Grimm, the idea came from a halloween website!

He was alot of work, but alot of fun too! I will be posting more Halloween Fun photos soon!
