While looking through my library of vintage photos, I came across the image of this woman. She made me laugh so I added the wine stickers and metal charms. The quote I found for this piece was perfect.
I just found your blog through the link on Take a Word. I am fascinated by your art journal pages. I have never done an art journal, and I was wondering about the actual size of your journal and whether these are single pages or a two-page spreads? I am fumbling with how to start and what would be strong enough to hold all the things I might want to put on the pages, lol! The pieces you create are fascinating and inspiring, thanks so much for sharing!
I was born and raised in southern Michigan. I'm blessed with three children, two boys and a girl that range in age from 22-30. I've been married to a wonderful man for the last 24 years. He's been very supportive of my art and has always encourged my artistic pursuits. Even though I have a fine arts degree I still consider myself largely a self taught mixed media artist. Inspiration for my art comes from many different places. Old family photos, my children, pets, and especially our garden, it's a passion that both Thom and I share.

ReplyDeleteVintage feels! You are very much brilliant especially with the quote. I love it! Your wine stickers really compliment with the photo very sentimental.
