I'd like to thank Marie for allowing me to share my art with all of you. Although I have been drawing and painting ever since I can remember. I am new to blogging and the art challenges I've been joining in on. I chose the word "Exposed" This is a page from my art journal it reads. When you make your art public your heart is exposed to the World.
This is just how we all feel inside as we expose our hidden selves in our art. Thank God we are a nurturing community who can understand and help each other. This is a wonderful piece. Thank you. xx
Victoria, your most beautiful artwork is blowing everyone away. I was lucky enough to have it on my computer for a week or two and I kept going back to enjoy all its fine details, so as not to miss anything. Thankyou so much for hosting the challenge this week. It was so worth waiting for.
I absolutely loved this. We can see just how much thought and hard work has gone into it. It deserves a wider view - hope lots of people get to see it.
It's every time a feast to watch your posts and entries Victoria ! ( I don't write every time a message but I follow your blog regular) Your style is very inspirational and amazing detailed. Bravo for this piece !!! Rian
I was born and raised in southern Michigan. I'm blessed with three children, two boys and a girl that range in age from 22-30. I've been married to a wonderful man for the last 24 years. He's been very supportive of my art and has always encourged my artistic pursuits. Even though I have a fine arts degree I still consider myself largely a self taught mixed media artist. Inspiration for my art comes from many different places. Old family photos, my children, pets, and especially our garden, it's a passion that both Thom and I share.
